Familyworks provides Post Primary Schools Counselling via the ICSS Post Primary Schools Contract. During the school closure due to the COVID-19 outbreak, we will continue to offer counselling support to our Post Primary Schools. This is how it will work:

Types of Appointments During COVID-19

There are three types of appointments available – video call, IM and phone.

During The Appointment

We’ll talk as normal to find out how you are and talk through your worries and concerns.

What Can You Talk About?

School counsellors can talk to you about anything including anxiety, loss or solving problems.

SPECIAL SCHOOLS COUNSELLING

Familyworks provides Special Schools Counselling via the ICSS Special Schools Contract. During the school closure due to the COVID-19 outbreak, we will continue to offer counselling support to our Special Schools. This is how it will work:

Use the referral form to make contact with your school counsellor. This referral can by completed by the young person, parent/carer or teachers. Click here to complete the form.

Special School appointments will be provided by a combination of video calls, instant messaging services and telephone calls.

During The Appointment

We will find out what the concerns of the young person are and begin to work through a solution.

What You Can Talk About

You can talk about anything from anxiety, to behaviour, to managing at home – we will help in any way we can.
